The leak of the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Let’s Go turns out to be true. Lapras is on this picture in the trailer. Lovely to watch.
The battles in the new Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch are looking quite nice.
One of the main characters in these games is ofcourse Eevee. Apparently you can give your Pokémon new clothes.
Gengar and the player are going for a walk while Eevee sits on the head of the player.
As you can see you can spot Pokémon in the wild now. No random encounters anymore!
Running in co-op with an Eevee in your head.
Running with Pikachu.
This is the boxart for the Nintendo Switch release of Pokémon Let’s Go. For both versions. Pikachu and Eevee both stand on the cover of their versions.
Let’s Go Pikachu gives you the opportunity to start your journey just like Ash Ketchum: with Pikachu at your side. As the protagonist you will start your journey through Kanto with your favourite sparkly companion. Where you always jealous of your rival/Gary? Let’s Go Eevee is the game for you! You start the new game on the Nintendo Switch with the fluffy Eevee.
You have the ability to let your Pokémon walk right next to you just like in the animes, Pokémon Yellow and SoulSilver/HearthGold games. Pikachu or Eevee will sit on your shoulder on your head or walk right behind ofcourse there are other Pokémon you can go on an adventure with.
We don’t know anything about the Pokémon which are exclusive to the Pikachu game just yet. But if you take a look at the older Pokémon games it is almost a given that there will be some kind of exlusives. If you want to catch them all you might want to buy both versions of the games.
Pokémon Let’s Go! and Pokémon Go are strongly connected. Your most beloved creatures can be transfered from one game to the other. So you can play with your Pokémon both on your Switch as on your smartphone. This is only the case for the first 151 Pokémon for now, including Mew and Mewto. The Pokémon Company promised us to tell more about this connectivity on a later date.
While a lot of things have changed, the fighting has not. The fights will still be turn-based, but you can only fight against other trainers. You will have a possibility to fight in co-op for the first time.
Catching your favourite mons is now more like Pokémon Go. You have to move your Joy-Con the right way to catch them. Apart from that: there will be no random encounters anymore.
For the first time in Pokémon history you can enjoy your journey in together with a friend. You can give the second Joy-Con to the person next to you on the couch and enjoy the game together.
Last but not least you will get the option to chose clothes for the starter of your chosing. You can dress up Pikachu and Eevee to make them look like you want them to.
The Pokémon Company announced the release of a Pokémon RPG for Nintendo Switch. Pokémon: Let’s Go get’s a co-op option and an option to interact with Pokémon Go for smartphones. Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee versions will release 16 november worldwide.
The new Pokémon game takes place in the Kanto region and contains the very first 151 Pokémon, including Mew and Mewto. You can play the game with one Joy-Con or give someone next to you on the couch the other controller for some co-op fun.
You can transfer the Pokémon you have catched in Go to your Nintendo Switch. This only counts for the first generation of Pokémon for now. You can use your shiny Charizard when this games comes out, that’s kinda neat right?
Pokémon Let’s Go comes with a new accessory: Pokéball Plus. You can use your pokéball to catch your favourite pocketanimals. You can even bring your mons with you on your journey outside.
